Rationality Vs Emotionality (Part 2) – TBWJP009

Are Men in Charge of their World?

One of the key things we must understand about the notion of rationality is the idea that men are in charge of their world. Whatever men do, they say, is a “choice.” Thereby, men are sentient actors in their world.

Here, I beg to differ. Here is why…

Emotionality is nature. Rationality is nurture. One is inherent (natural); they other is acquired (nurtured).

In this Podcast, I argue that men are innately emotional. Similar to the previous Podcast in the series, I argue that men are emotional beings. As a result, they are likely to respond to their nature rather than to accommodate their nurture.

The Natural Always Rules

Nature always takes precedence over a man’s want to be or not to be. Nature always takes precedence over a man’s understanding of his world. Therefore, nature always takes precedence in a person’s reality or his or her understanding of that reality.

To put it differently, men respond to their nature; they accommodate their nurture. In the end, however, nature always kicks in.

In this Podcast, I argue that men are emotional at their core being. Rationality implies that men are wireless in the natural. But it is foolish to see the world of men from such an angle, for nothing in nature supports such an approach. Thus, men are emotional beings.
